This Committee provides a venue and support for those who are studying for, or are just entering the design/construction industry. The Committee works with local educational institutions to provide a resource for faculty and students and to establish a connection between those institutions and the Chapter.
The Committee administers the application process for the annual Frybergh Scholarship and holds several events at Academic Institutions for greater interaction between Academic Institution and professionals in the Construction Industry.
Acts as liaison between student affiliate groups and institutions of higher learning, and coordinates activities with the chapter/region.
Encourages university and technical institute administrators to offer courses in construction documentation as part of their curriculum.
Makes and maintains contacts at local academic institutions who have engineering, architectural, or other construction related programs.
Responsible for developing student membership, and student affiliates at local schools.
